Each December, our Candlelight Service of Remembrance honors the loved ones of the families we have served over the course of the year. History

Community leaders Melvin Williams and Bonney Smith started Smith & Williams Funeral Home in Norfolk, Virginia in 1966. Ten years later, they opened a funeral home in Kempsville to serve families across the Virginia Beach area. After more than half a century, we still make it our mission to create personalized funeral services with exquisite attention to detail.
